 His Holiness Dzongsar Khentse Rempoche is the incarnation of the Parinirwani Jamyang Khentse Choeki Lode, who is one among the supreme Gurus of Ngingma sect in Tibetan Vazrayana Buddhism who visited Sikkim and went in parinirwana when his rainbow body was offering fire cremation at TashidingThe stupa Kudung in the name of the great guru can today be visited at Tashiding Monastery. During his stay the then the monks of Sikkim received teachings from him.

 
     
 

 The Present incarnation H.H. Dzonsar Khentse is equally a great master having Buddhist learning centers in many countries in both east and west. His main center where he mostly live is in his buddhist college at Bir in Himachal Pradesh(India).

 
     
 

In west Sikkim too at a place called Hinsangang about 3kms away from Gayzing and 13kms away from Pelling towards Yangtey-Sakyong road there is a center named Hingsang Gompa where once upon a time the senior students and Monks used to practice retreat and great prayers and initiation ceremony used to be performed attracting large gathering of devotees.  

 
     
 

At present the center is more known tobe called as Hingsang Mensal Gompa, A center for development of Tibetan Herbal Medicines activited by the ven. Dzogsar Ngari Tulku one of the senior gurus and expert of Tibetan Medicine. This project is under the direction of H.H. Dzongsar Khentse Rempoche did take place for some time. IN2007 the Ven. Ngari Tulku Passed away during his stay in Germany.
