  Khangchendzonga Waterfalls:

About 28kms from Pelling and about 18k,s further than Rimbi and 5k,s before Yuksam is Khangchendzonga Waterfalls which is situated at a sharp curve on the road side. The falls being very big in size and equally attractive through out the year, it has become one of the leading tourist spots in west Sikkim. Until a local tour operator of Pelling named Topjor Bhutia discovered it in the mid 90s the falls was not well known to tourists and even the locals as this is not easily visible one has to walk a little in side to have the view of the real Khangchendzonga falls. On the side of this falls there is another attractively breath taking falls falling from top hill which is known to be the over flow of Khecheopalri lake. Spending an hour watching the the falls and enjoying the variety of local recipe with many served enthusiastically by the local villagers. Today this spot is being developed with needed infrastructure for the comfort of the tourists.
